Petie and I agree on Harry Potter (and this guy does too)
I feel validated. Not only did Petie feel the same way I did, but this guy went into detail on his blog about the problems he had with the last harry Potter book. I think he explains it all nicely.

I simply can’t agree with this assessment of Ron and Hermione’s romance. For one, it’s been coming on since, oh, Book 1, and for another thing–Ron is not just some idiotic oaf. He’s a teenage boy, yes, but not only is he lovably cute, he turns out to be a hell of a good wizard with a heart that is pure and true. Who wouldn’t love Ron Weasley? A smarty like Hermione would for sure. Of course, I adored Book 7, so it’s going to be difficult to persuade me that the story was so faulty when I found it appropo in every way.
