Babies and Offices

My boss brings her 3 month old son to work with her every day. It’s a little unorthodox, but her office is downstairs tucked away so if he cries it doesn’t really bother anyone. I actually like having him there. Whenever I get stressed or frustrated, looking at his big blue eyes is a big help. His name is Kellum.

We moved into a new “office” this week and I started working full time for the first time IN MY LIFE. It’s only two days into my “new” job, so the jury is still out on the daily grind. But I love my personal office. It’s huge. Our office is actually a house in my parents’ neighborhood. There are 4 bedrooms. I have my own bedroom AND my own bathroom, which I have cherrily decorated in blues. My office is still bare, but there is just so much wall space I may never even bother.

Tomorrow I’ll get photos of the rest of the house. Look here for a tour of my workspace. Here’s a general view:

Man, with natural light that blue carpet looks REALLY blue. We should paint your office or put some wallpaper up :)

I like the pink theme going on. Who could have picked that? Also, when considering wallpaper or paint, may I just scream STENCILS in your general direction? STENCILS!!! Okay, maybe paint…
