Halloween party!
I get to go to the ?th Annual Halloween party at my friends Gabe and Melissa’s condo complex. It’s always a huge party. Last year Danny and I went as a schoolgirl (an old stand by costume of mine from college) and a teacher. Here is a pic Gabe took that night:

Danny is blowing off Halloween this year, but I’ll take pictures of the better costumes I see tomorrow.

This time of year
At least, with all the horrible crap that has been happening this past month and a half, at the very least, the weather has finally gotten nice. I can feel a little comforted by a beautiful day and my autumn-scented candles to help me enjoy the season. The next two months are my favorite time of year.
Note: The bank told me they may even TAKE BACK the money the refunded me, if they determine that the loss was not the fault of the bank. Can you believe this shit? I’d be out $2,000 and there would be nothing I could do about it. Right before gift giving season. I am so so so distraught. I am trying really really hard to cope as best I can. I really am working hard.
But:
The green autumnal parks conducting
All the city streets a wondrous chorus singing
All these poses oh how can you blame me
Life is a game and true love is a trophy
And at least I have found true love, and nobody can ever take that from me.

Oh, man
Another fight. I may not get all my money back. I am still missing $800. They are still “investigating.”

Speaking of bad luck . . .
Someone stole all my money out of my bank account.
I don’t know how but they made 4 ATM withdrawals and took it all. I still have my card so they somehow 1) have my card information and 2) know my PIN number. I am terrified.
I filed a claim tonight and that’s all I can do. I hope I get my money back.
I don’t know how this happened. I am going to the bank tomorrow to talk to someone in person.
Update from Danny: The bank said that they’ll be returning the money to her within 24 hours. Woohoo!

Friday the 13th! In OCTOBER!
There’s nothing like watching scary movies alone on Friday the 13th! Right now I am watching The Uninvited (1944) and then maybe The Legend of Hell House (1973).

Yikes
My mom was exactly the age I am now (26) when she had me. OMG.
In other news, one of my gifts from Danny was the new Dove Calming Night lotion. I love to moisturize. This is amazing stuff. My skin feels good for hours. I just wanted to tell you. If you need some moisturizer, this is the stuff to get.

Blingo really does work, I promise
A little over 2 months ago I signed up for the Blingo search engine which is basically just Google plus Prizes. It gives you all the same search results as Google would, with perhaps a bit more busy interface, but hey you can win prizes
What they do is they pre-pick several times during the day where they’ll give away a prize to the person who searches closest to that time, and if you’re that person then you get a little notification that you won a prize. They only accept your first 10 searches every day, so sitting there searching over and over for “purple monkey dishwasher” doesn’t help your cause any, really. But a lot of us (myself included) typically search at least a half-dozen times a day, and now I find myself sometimes using Blingo instead of just hopping over to wikipedia like I might normally do, just to increase my chances. Inevitably, wikipedia is the first link returned anyway, but no harm done really.
If you want, please use my referral link to sign up, because that way when you win, I win prizes as well. Since I just won a $10 iTunes gift certificate, so did Jeff Croft, who first informed me about Blingo in one of his blog posts a while back. That, of course, means that any of your friends that you invite will win stuff for you as well.
It’s not for everyone, but for those who search enough to potentially make it worthwhile, give it a shot.
