Ain’t I pretty, it’s my city, I’m the king of New York

Last night my brother Ben and I watched Newsies, a classic favorite. I couldn’t help but look at it with my 25-year-old eyes instead of 12-year-old eyes, and of course it wasn’t as good as I thought it was. But by now, I don’t love it for what it is, I love it for what it was. There are quite a few things that I love for what they used to be. But Danny will always be loved for what he is as well as what he was. And he is a HUGE DORK GOOBER SOQUID PURPLE MONKEY DISHWASHER.

I also love my brother because he is just so funny and ridiculous. Last night he was dancing around the living room practicing to sell Chronicles down by Minute Maid Park. I wound up getting pretty sick, throwing up, with a terrible headache. He helped me get to bed, brought me water and a garbage bag, and said if anyone ever fucked with me, he would fuck them up. That’s Ben! I am going to miss living with him.

I love Newsies, too. I have seen it a SMILLION times, but not since I was about 14 or so. You know, I majorly had the hots for David for being the “smart, quiet one”. I especially liked that the actor’s real name was David also. In retrospect, I think I was an insane kid. Christian Bale is clearly the hotty heavyweight in that movie. Oh and Vinnie from Doogie Howser. J/k.
