New laptop

And to follow up the big geek post with an only peripherally geeky post. Meg’s swanky new Thinkpad T43 has arrived!

I’m jealous. :(

    I haven’t even taken it out of the box because I am too afraid to touch it until Danny gets home!

    PS- I made sure to take advantage of Danny’s permission to say “I am his wife” when the package was delivered. It was fun times!

    She asked me what my last name was and I got scared, actually, so I was like “Oh I am his wife.” I should have signed as “Meg DiPaolo”. HA!

    Danny looked into the common-law thing a few months ago and found that if we (practically) lived together, referred to each other in public as husband and wife, and “had full intent” to get married, in Texas, it made us common-law. So you Texans be careful, it’s easy to accidentally wind up married by common law!
